NRG eliminated from IEM Atlanta winless after loss to FaZe
After falling 0-2 yesterday to FUT, NRG couldn't get a map today against FaZe as they got knocked out of IEM Atlanta 2026. Despite a competitive showing on Nuke, NRG were largely out-gunned and couldn't capitalize on advantages.
NRG chose to start the series on Ancient, but FaZe held momentum through the whole first half after their pistol win to take a 9-3 lead. After winning the second pistol, FaZe quickly closed out Ancient 13-3.
FaZe picked Nuke, but ran into difficulties on their T-side. NRG got the pistol and a streak at the end to put FaZe down 4-8. After winning their CT pistol, FaZe slowly but surely got back into the game. Despite winning seven of twelve opening duels, NRG only got three rounds on their T-side as FaZe took the map 13-11.
