Business was booming for Liquid

Liquid report $60 million in revenue for 2025

Profit is rare in this business.

In a roundtable interview with three other esports CEOs, Liquid CEO Steve Arhancet shared that his organization achieved over $60 million in revenue last year and has been profitable for three years.

According to Arhancet, Liquid employs over 300 employees across multiple businesses, including Liquipedia and Liquid Media. He credits these businesses for providing value "outside of just what we call TPA revenue or team participation agreement revenue" from publishers.

Despite three consecutive years of revenue, aided in part by EWC stipends, Liquid has not been completely immune to industry-wide setbacks. In September of 2025, the company laid off "about 6%" of their workforce. In March of this year, staff saw another round of layoffs.

After narrowly qualifying to IEM Cologne, Liquid will receive their Major stickers and associated revenue, adding to what will likely be another profitable year for the organization.
