CROSSFIRE Season 5 sells out in under three hours

Fewer than three hours after signups went live for CROSSFIRE Season 5, the organizer announced that all 32 spots had been filled. Teams are still able to sign up, but they will be placed on a waiting list in case any confirmed teams drop out. CROSSFIRE is no stranger to this speedy timeline; Season 4 sold out in just a day back in February.

CROSSFIRE Season 5 will begin on June 1st and run through July 10th. The event is VRS-enabled and has an increased prize pool of $5,000 compared to Season 4's $3,500.

The event's format remains unchanged from last season, with 32 teams divided into eight round-robin groups of four. The top two teams from each group advance to a 16-team single-elimination playoff bracket to determine the champion.
