Neityu: "I'm pretty satisfied with how Twistzz calls. I had this style when I played with shox"
FaZe's debut at BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 kicked off today with a 2-0 loss to NAVI. It was a slow start on Anubis. We had a poor CT-side and then our T-side was pretty good. On Ancient it was pretty hard to play. We didn't adapt to their play style I would say. Slow start on Anubis, we could've done better on CT and then we could probably have won the map.
Ancient we were surprised by their play style a bit and we adapt on time.
Can you say more on why things went wrong on Ancient?
Like I said I think we didn't adapt and then after that we just crumbled. The economy situation was pretty rough for us to be able to bounce back and then little by little we just lost rounds.
What does your future look like with FaZe. Any chance of you staying beyond this short-term stand-in appointment?
For now I'm just standing in for three tournaments. After that we'll see as it is undetermined.
FaZe recently added your former coach enkay J. Has it been good to work with him again?
Yeah, good being with him. As I expected, I am still satisfied with how he coaches. I'm on the same page with him CS-wise and outside of CS. I'm happy to be with him in this team.
How do you assess Twistzz as an IGL and his leadership style?
I'm pretty satisfied with how he calls. I had this in the past when I played with shox [on Nakama]. I really like how he calls and the principles. It's pretty free leading and he gives freedom to everyone to build a round. Sometimes he can take over the call-outs but giving a bit of freedom to everyone and for now for what we did in practice it works pretty well.
We just need to keep reviewing the mistakes we made and it'll be good.
Next up we'll see you take on the loser of fURIA v. GamerLegion. How are you feeling about those matchups?
I don't really feel anything to be honest. But, looking forward to play one of them, it doesn't really who it is.
