CROSSFIRE announce information for Season 5

Just days after regain took down Zomblers to win Season 4, CROSSFIRE has revealed their plans for Season 5. The online event will start in a little over a month, on June 1st, and end on July 10th. The prize pool has also increased again; $5,000 are now up for grabs, with $3,000 going to the winner.

Importantly, the tournament will also maintain its status as a VRS event.

Like in every prior event, Season 5 will feature 32 teams. The format is also the same as last season: eight round-robin groups of four will play out as the group stage. The top two teams from each group then advance to a 16-team, single-elimination, all-bo3 bracket to determine the champion.

Signups for the event will open on Saturday, May 2nd at 08:00PM. The entry fee is $150 per team, which is due immediately after submission.
