Could Zeus join ScreaM in returning to CS?

Zeus mulls return to Counter-Strike citing karrigan as inspiration

Will the NAVI legend make a comeback?

Retired Major champion Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko shared on social media that he is considering a return to pro play. The 38-year-old claims he was inspired by Finn "karrigan" Andersen's potential move to Falcons.

The former NAVI player says, "I never thought players over 33 would be in such high demand," referring to 35-year-old karrigan's rumored transfer to Falcons. Other veteran players are also challenging the unofficial age limit, with FURIA's Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo (34) and Dan "apEX" Madesclaire (33) still leading their teams to big event wins and top-tier rankings.

The PGL Major Kraków 2017 champion was a staple and icon of the Ukrainian Counter-Strike scene from 2009 to 2018, winning numerous trophies across 1.6 and Global Offensive before retiring in 2019.

Zeus played his last professional match at BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019, where he posted a 0.82 rating over five maps.

He briefly faced controversy and condemnation in 2025 for posting intimate videos and making derogatory comments towards a Chinese college student leading to her expulsion from college during the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
