fr3nd officially has a new team

FRAG 19 champions KOLESIE bring on former Wildcard sniper fr3nd

The Pole is no longer a stand-in.

Polish organization KOLESIE has announced the addition of Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz, who had been standing in for the team since March 13th. The former Wildcard Academy promotee officially joins KOLESIE alongside Mateusz "Ex1st" Witman, while Kamil "Sobol" Sobolewski departs the team.

Upon AWPer Love "phzy" Smidebrant's return to Wildcard from a 9INE loan, fr3nd was placed on the bench where he spent the next six months. In their continued quest for an AWPer, 9INE then acquired Alan "Flayy" Krupa from KOLESIE, allowing an opportunity for fr3nd to become their new AWPer. When the dust settled, Wildcard had chosen fellow Wildcard Academy player Michał "mhl" Engel to replace an Astralis-bound phzy, while 9NINE and KOLESIE opted for flayy and fr3nd, respectively.

With fr3nd as a stand-in, KOLESIE went 4-2 over six matches. As an official member of the roster, he's averaged a 1.11 rating over four maps.

KOLESIE rose to notability in the NA scene last year after winning FRAG 19 over M80.

KOLESIE are now:

  • Paweł "innocent" Mocek

  • Konrad "Qlocuu" Klocek

  • Maciej "b1elany" Biliński

  • Mateusz "Ex1st" Witman

  • Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz

  • Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek (Coach)

Their next match is slated for April 10th.
