NRG completely stomped by FUT in Bucharest
In round two of the PGL Bucharest Swiss system, NRG faced FUT in the 2-0 pool. The match was utter domination from the young European mix as NRG only mustered five rounds over two maps. Ouch.
NRG are now 1-1, so they will have several more opportunities to show a better side.
The match began on NRG's pick of Ancient. FUT turned a pistol win into a 4-0 lead before NRG fought back to get two rounds. However, FUT still ended the first half with a lofty 10-2 lead. NRG got the pistol, but FUT quickly closed the map 13-3.
FUT picked Nuke, and it was even less competitive. Despite losing seven of twelve opening duels to NRG, FUT somehow managed to put together a 10-2 lead on the T-site of Nuke. The CT-side was a mercifully fast affair as FUT ended the map 13-2.
While nobody on NRG had a strong series, Alexander "br0" Bro put up the strongest fight. He was 4/1 in opening duels and had over 80 ADR.
NRG will play again tomorrow at 06:00AM against EYEBALLERS.
