launders says "Liquid must disband today"
Caster and analyst Mohan "launders" Govindasamy recently released a video titled “Team Liquid Must Disband Today.” In it, he describes 32nd-ranked Liquid’s problems and the inability to solve or even attribute blame for them, concluding the team would be better off just starting from scratch.
launders starts his video explaining that Liquid are not an underdog team. He mentions jokes made at the expense of FaZe and the nearly 700 days since they’ve won a LAN event. Liquid, 2019’s Grand Slam winners, have gone almost 2,500 days without hoisting a trophy.
In attempting to place the blame where it belongs, launders defends manager Steve "jokasteve" Perino’s decision to bring back Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, the 2024 Casper "cadiaN" Møller experiment, and the team’s roster moves as a whole. launders also points out Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis’ resurgence after leaving Liquid, as well as Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek’s young stardom prior to joining, jokingly concluding, “Your time on Liquid doesn’t count.”
If the roster was never the problem, it must be “something in the culture that can’t be avoided,” and the only solution may be a drastic one. However, it is worth noting this video was seemingly recorded before Liquid traded Guy "NertZ" Iluz to G2 for Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa and returned to the Americas VRS region.
