Check out the VRS impact of Roman Imperium Cup VI
With Roman Imperium Cup VI in the books, let’s see which teams climbed up the VRS standings and which teams went tumbling.
Second-place OG received the lion’s share of points, skyrocketing from #120 to #51 in the rankings to the tune of a massive 293 points. Gaimin Gladiators saw the second-highest VRS reward at 121 points, with both teams having upset 39th-ranked Liquid.
Champions NIP and third-place Alliance moved into the Top 20 with their high placements, while North American teams M80 and Voca underwhelmed in the group stage, with the latter losing three VRS points in NIP’s group.
Fourth-place Liquid moved up one spot in the global rankings. However, VRS enthusiast Jesper “Udknud” Larsen has pointed out that Liquid’s four losses in Portugal will have a lasting negative impact.
As for Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's BC.Game, who entered the event ranked #32, they exited with only a default win over the absent GRINGOS, plus 40 fewer VRS points and a new ranking outside the Top 30.
