Passion UA unveil European academy team with an average age of 15.8 years old

Passion UA have unveiled their European academy team after beginning the search for players in December 2025. The academy squad features young players from across Central and Eastern Europe, and is led by former Windigo and sYnck coach Oleksandr "Shockwave" Netreba.

The majority of the incoming players have limited experience in professional competitions, with the majority only having a map or two on HLTV. This is to be expected as the roster is very young even by academy standards, with the average age of the team being 15.8 years old.

This average is brought by Danylo "Fintik" Bozhyk, a 13-year-old Ukrainian player described by Passion UA as a "young talent". As Fintik is too young to compete in most competitions, he will presumably sit in on practices and learn from Shockwave and IGL Richard "log1ks" Bohunský in the lead up to a proper debut in the coming years.
