LAG, InControl qualify for ESEA S56 NA Finals
InControl and LAG have qualified for the ESEA S56 NA Finals after both sides went undefeated in ESEA Advanced S56 playoffs.
LAG won each of their three series by a 2-0 scoreline while InControl only lost one map on their way to qualification for the NA Finals.
LAG 2-0 Chicken Coop
LAG's qualification match came against Chicken Coop. Chicken Coop opted to begin the series on Nuke, with LAG trying to take advantage of a CT side start. LAG would hold a slight 7-5 lead with Chicken Coop transitioning into their defensive half. It was LAG who came out firing, though, as they took six straight rounds to put Chicken Coop away 13-5.
LAG's choice was Inferno, and their momentum from the first map carried into the second. LAG sprinted out to a 10-2 lead at the end of the first half, which they would easily convert to another 13-5 win to book their spot in the ESEA S56 NA Finals.
Kamron "Kmrn" Manii and Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield led the way for LAG, with 37 and 34 frags, respectively.

InControl's final match was v. Zomblers and InControl chose to get things started on Mirage. Zomblers started with a quick 5-0 lead before InControl answered back with five rounds of their own to even the score. Zomblers held the slightest of advantages at 7-5 before transitioning to the second half. InControl took control from there, winning eight of ten rounds to hold serve on their map 13-9.
Dust2 was the pick of Zomblers, but it was InControl who took the early lead at 4-0, eventually holding a 7-5 advantage at halftime. Zomblers clawed their way back, eventually forcing overtime after a back-and-forth end to regulation. Two overtime periods were needed, and it was InControl who came out better, winning the map 19-17 and securing the 2-0 sweep.
Brett "Scorchyy" Coolen was the star for InControl in the series, as he dropped 49 frags and logged a 1.39 rating.
