Benched SkinRave roster disbands as players seek individual offers

Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore has confirmed to Dust2.us that the benched SkinRave roster have made the decision to stop playing together, with the players now pursuing individual offers. After being benched on January 21st, the team had continued together for another month, however the roster slowly began to suffer attrition with the lack of support from the organization, with Tommy "Axed" Ryan calling it quits in January while Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado seems to have left sometime in February.

More recently, Maks "laxiee" Andryei has been spotted playing with MONEY CREW lately while Paytyn "junior" Johnson is expected to move to Voca in short order.

It is currently unknown where Cryptic and Colby "Walco" Walsh will end up, however Dust2.us understands that Cryptic is closing in on a new team. Additrionally, the team's sub for the first ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup, Saad "Pluto" Siraj, is back in action with Desi Boyz for ESEA Advanced Season 56 playoffs.

The demise of the SkinRave roster is an unfortunate end to a successful team that was regarded as one of NA's strongest before Valve's changing sponsorship rules pushed SkinRave to exit esports and stop supporting the team.
