M80 advance to grand final in ESL Challenger S51 Cup 1
The first ESL Challenger Cup of Season 51 is down to the top three, with two matches going down last night.
M80 defeated Voca in the upper bracket via a solid 2-0 victory, while Marsborne survived in the lower bracket after a 2-0 win over Rave.
M80 2-0 Voca
The upper final started on Voca's pick of Dust2, where M80 started up 6-0. Voca answered back with five straight before M80 stabilized to lead 7-5 at the half. The second half was all M80, as they surrendered just one round to steal Voca's pick 13-6.
M80 chose Mirage to try to close the series out. Both teams traded streaks of rounds in the first half and were deadlocked at 6-6 at halftime. M80 took control in the second half once again, dropping a single round to win 13-7 and send Voca to the lower bracket.
Mason "Lake" Sanderson was lighting up the server, dropping 42 frags with an unreal 1.86 rating.

Marsborne 2-0 
Rave
In the lower bracket, Rave chose Ancient to start the series. Marsborne seized the advantage on the CT side, thanks in large part to winning four of the final five rounds to lead 8-4 at halftime. Rave rallied to take the lead at 10-9, but Marsborne closed strong again to win the map 13-10.
Rave begain their opponents' Inferno pick up 4-1, but Marsborne replied with the final seven rounds to hold an 8-4 edge at the half once again. Rave will be kicking themselves for not capitalizing on Ancient, as they never got a look on Inferno, losing 13-6 and placing 3rd in ECL.
Adam "Graizz" Golden and Adam "WolfY" Anderssen stood out for Marsborne as they both tallied greater than 30 frags to propel their side to the win.

The consolidation final between Voca and Marsborne is scheduled for tonight at 09:00PM. The winner will move on to play M80 in the grand final on Tuesday.
