Liquid announce search for new analyst as DeMars DeRover moves to new role

Liquid have announced that the organization will be undergoing a search for a new analyst as current analyst Jay "DeMars DeRover" Li is set to move to a new undisclosed role within the organization. Outside of a four-month stint as an interim head coach, DeMars DeRover has served as the team's analyst since May 2023, joining the Counter-Strike 2 division after working with NRG's VALORANT team.

DeMars DeRover's tenure with with Liquid as their analyst had seen him work with a flurry of coaches and in-game leaders as the organization has struggled to find a winning combination in CS2. Over the past three years DeMars DeRover served with no less than five IGLs and four coaches while also taking over coaching duties at a number of events including the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
