NRG knocked into lower bracket match with Falcons
In their Stage 2 debut at IEM Krakow, NRG unfortunately could not overcome MOUZ. This defeat sets the North Americans on a collision course with Falcons for their tournament lives.
On NRG's map pick of Dust2, MOUZ would steal the opening pistol. Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek's hot start would inevitably gain NRG the lead, and Alexander "br0" Bro would run with it, securing a nice 4k to put his team up 6-2.
However, MOUZ would rally back to a 5-7 half and squeak out a second pistol round. Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás' scout proved deadly as he watched over mid, repeatedly picking off Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella early in the rounds. torzsi's AWP proved even more formidable, surging MOUZ to a 13-9 win despite Joshua "oSee" Ohm's 1v1 protest.
NRG would open MOUZ's pick on Ancient with a flawless pistol round and again take the half, this time going 8-4. Again, MOUZ would command the second half, resulting in another 13-9 victory for the Europeans.
