Passion UA extends T.c's contract by two years

The South African coach will continue his journey with the Ukrainian organization.

On January 19th, Passion UA announced that head coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen will be staying with the organization until 2028. The move not only signals the team's commitment to the experienced coach but also the permanency of the organization's move away from purely Ukrainian teams.

After leaving Complexity early last year, T.c joined Passion UA when the team still had its old Ukrainian core. After several months climbing the rankings, he reunited with the Complexity core in a shocking move that saw all but Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk together again in a new home. T.c's influence undoubtedly played a major role in the transfer.

Since then, T.c has been with the team at many LANs as they try to gain VRS points and re-establish themselves as a strong force in global Counter-Strike. Notable results include a second-place finish at DraculaN Season 2, a win at Urban Riga Open #1, and a near-playoffs finish at the Starladder Budapest Major.

The team will have their 2026 LAN debut at IEM Kraków Stage 1 against G2 on January 28th.

As a reminder, Passion UA are:

  • Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol

  • Johnny "JT" Theodosiou

  • United States Michael "Grim" Wince

  • Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli

  • United States Nicholas "nicx" Lee

  • Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen (Coach)
