Official: Ghost disband

Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido has informed Dust2.us that Ghost's Counter-Strike 2 roster has disbanded, marking the end of Ghost return to Counter-Strike and first foray into the Impact scene. Ghost signed the former Blue Otter Karma at the start of 2025, hosting the roster for a year as they competed in the final two seasons of the ESL Impact League and various mixed competitions.

In a comment to Dust2.us, EMUHLEET told the publication the roster decided to go their separate ways due to a lack of opportunity and overall uncertainty about the women's scene in North America following the demise of the ESL Impact League. With that, the players have decided to focus on school, work, and/or finding new teams in 2026.

As for EMUHLEET, she told Dust2.us that she's looking at her options whether that be joining a new team, doing managerial work for an organization, or offering her nursing skills up to an organization as a health and wellness advisor.

Ghost dissolves after a mixed tenure for the team in the NA scene. While they improved from a sixth-place finish to a third-place finish from Season 7 to Season 8 of the ESL Impact League, Ghost struggled in mixed competition, failing to win a single match on HLTV against mixed teams in 2025.
