Breaking: GooseBreeder steps down from FlyQuest RED after 3+ years ahead of move to Europe

A watershed moment in the NA Impact scene.

FlyQuest have announced the departure of Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie from their ranks today, seeing the team's IGL and an NA Impact's most iconic player leave the team after more than three years. GooseBreeder's departure from FlyQuest RED comes ahead a move to Europe for the Canadian player, with GooseBreeder stating her goal is to reunite with significant other Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski.

The departure of GooseBreeder from FlyQuest RED and the NA scene as a whole marks a watershed moment in the NA Impact scene as GooseBreeder has been at the helm of CLG Red and FlyQuest RED for eight years. In that position, GooseBreeder has consistently led one of NA Impact's top teams throughout the entire history of the ESL Impact League.

GooseBreeder's departure from the NA scene is a significant loss for the region as the Impact scene boasts few IGLs as experienced with GooseBreeder boasting 10+ years in the scene.

In her place, FlyQuest RED are expected to announce former Sakura AWPer Lydia "Fawx" Dalton, as she has been tied to the team via their FACEIT page.

With GooseBreeder stepping down from FlyQuest RED, the team are now:

  • Australia Vivienne "BiBiAhn" Quach

  • United States Emma "emy" Choe

  • United States Vanessa "vanessa" Gideon

  • Denmark Marie "marie" Sørensen

  • United States Alan "Shakezullah" Hardeman (Coach)
