I'm comfortable playing. When we played them last time on Mirage, it didn't go as well as it did today, and that was last week at Miami. Today we were just more ready. Honestly, it also felt like they were a bit nervous playing on stage. It didn't feel like playing the typical nosraC and snav group.
How would you describe the team's mood heading into this LAN?
The mood is great, and the mood is backed by us also not having that many expectations. We went straight into these LANs with close to zero practice. Overall just knowing Josh and oSee, us being a team for a decent amount of time makes it easier for us to adapt to new and unpracticed situations.
Since Frag Miami, did you have any chance to practice?
We actually took some days off, just resetting and enjoying the fact that we had a high moment at the beginning of the season, getting the Krakow invite. Possibly some would call it an upset; some won't. We were playing well overall in Miami. Compared to last season, we are already showing a better level. We had some good days off between these two LANs to gather ourselves and make sure we show up.
Were you surprised with how well you went into Mirage?
Mirage was where everyone was like, "All right, ready to battle." It started off at even ground and even attitude, and that's obviously where we are a bit better. When it comes to Dust2, it felt like they let loose a bit and freestyled more. We also took a deep breath, maybe one too many, and then we let off the gas. They got the better of us a couple of rounds. There's not much room to be unfortunate, and it comes close, but it was still comfortable to play.

Yes, I'm sure I did. There's also the fact that I had the mentality of pushing myself, where if I move myself to another region, I'm forced to engage in more active playing. I don't play that much because I like to keep my mental thoughts on a clean slate, so I can play the game without frustrations or expectations. So when I moved to NA, I just put a bunch of time into the game, and to this day it's helping me out.
How are you feeling about your chances of taking down M80 again?
I feel pretty confident. I don't think we were that much behind them last season. Whenever we lost to them, it felt like maybe a little skill gap. Since adding oSee, we've gained an advantage. It's even ground again, and whoever has the better day will win the match. As of now, it's going pretty well for us, but we can't underestimate them.
What do you need to do to make sure you have the better day tomorrow?
Just remember how recent times have been. No matter the opponent, we've been playing well. The mood has been high. Even in this Voca matchup, it was a bit difficult on us, but it never felt like we were ready to lose or give up that map.
