Woro2k has been out in the wilderness for some time after being cut from Passion UA

Media: Turkish media claims Eternal Fire will form new international roster with Woro2k, jottAAA

Eternal Fire are reportedly set to join the Turkish shuffle.

Turkish CS2 accounts TRC Espor and TRCS Topluluk have claimed that Turkish organization Eternal Fire are set to pivot to an international roster with the signing of former Passion UA player Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk while the latter publication has also reported that Eternal Fire are set to acquire Samet "jottAAA" Köklü from Aurora after he was benched today in favor of Caner "soulfly" Kesici.

These two new players will reportedly join Buğra "Calyx" Arkın on the lineup while it seems that Eternal Fire are set to part ways with the majority of their current roster.

Despite featuring notable names like the previously-mentioned Calyx and Ömer "imoRR" Karatas, Eternal Fire's current lineup sits outside of the Top 100 of the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), with their fortunes declining over the past six months amidst a number of roster changes.

The organization's current position is a far cry from how Eternal Fire started the year as they hosted the now-Aurora lineup that breached the Top Ten of the Valve Regional Stanings (VRS) before selling the squad to the Serbian organization.

With this context, it appears Eternal Fire are reportedly set to wipe the board clear and transition to an international lineup, betting on Woro2k and jottAAA to restore their fortunes. It is currently unknown if Eternal Fire plan on keeping any of their current players outside of Calyx, even on a temporary basis, to retain their VRS core as otherwise they would need to start from zero in the notoriously difficult open circuit.

The core of the new Eternal Fire roster is reportedly set to consist of:

  • Buğra "Calyx" Arkın

  • Samet "jottAAA" Köklü

  • Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk
