Media: German prospect kyuubii to leave BIG Academy to join international project featuring Altekz, k1to

Can "kyuubii" Ali is set to leave BIG Academy at the end of the year to join AM, according to German CS Leaks on X. AM is a smaller organization that competes in the European tier three scene that have been plying their trade for the past nine months, with the lineup recently breaching the Top 60 in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).

kyuubii's impending move to AM will see him leave BIG Academy after four months, having been demoted from the main team in August in favor of David "prosus" Hesse.

During his time with BIG Academy, kyuubii has put up a solid 1.13 rating over 24 maps in the past three months for BIG Academy, helping to guide his side to top-four finishes at both DACH Masters Season 4 and United21 League Season 41.

In joining AM, kyuubii would link with former BIG player Nils "k1to" Gruhne and former Astralis player Alexander "Altekz" Givskov, with the trio bringing a good bit of experience as the team try to further climb the ranks in 2026.
