BOSS take down regain, advance to Finals of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5
BOSS have swept regain to claim a spot in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5 Finals. BOSS are yet to drop a map in this edition of Dust2.us Eagle Masters, having swept regain in the semi-finals.
BOSS will now face the winner of Voca v. SkinRave in the finals.
regain chose to start the series on Dust2. BOSS claimed the first two rounds before regain went on a five-round streak to take a 5-2 lead. BOSS answered back with five of their own to hold a 7-5 lead at the half. From there, they didn't look back, only surrendering one round in the second half to win the map 13-6.
BOSS' map pick was Nuke, where they were able to hold a slight 7-5 lead at the half once again. regain took the lead early in the second half at 8-7, but BOSS ended the map strong with six rounds in a row to win the map 13-8 and sweep regain out of the playoffs.
BOSS were led by Brendan "Bwills" Williams, who posted a match-high 37 frags with a 1.64 rating.
