Will Liquid pull the trigger on a roster move?

Striker claims at least 5 of the top 15 on HLTV are looking to make changes

Nothing beats the Major, except maybe the post-Major roster shuffle.

A number of shakeups at the top of the standings appear to be on the way following the conclusion of the Budapest StarLadder Major, though the media has already confirmed a couple.

On the latest episode of HLTV Confirmed, co-host and Editor-in-Chief Milan "Striker" Švejda said that at least five of the top 15-ranked teams are "already looking" to make potential changes after the Major.

"Some of them may be a bit further than others," Striker said. "Some I'm pretty convinced they will be making changes...I'm sure that's going to expand, it's probably more like half, realistically."

Two teams in the top 15 have reportedly made changes, with one already confirmed. Dust2.com.br reported earlier today that paiN, ranked 10th, will replace Franco "dgt" Garcia and David "dav1deuS" Tapia, with paiN confirming the benching less than an hour later. HLTV and Dust2.dk's report that Nicolai "device" Reedtz is expected to join 100 Thieves means that Astralis, ranked 11th, would also be making changes.

While there's been no reporting yet on who else is considering changes, there are some teams on the list that stand out. Liquid could consider changes after a lackluster, or "diabolical" to quote Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, showing in Budapest. While FaZe managed to recover from an awful start with a playoff berth, the team could still consider bringing in a new AWPer to replace the underperforming Helvijs "broky" Saukants. Spirit and G2 are also teams worth watching after the Major.

Teams at the very top of the rankings likely won't consider changes unless something catastrophic happens during the Major playoffs. The likes of FURIA and Vitality are very unlikely to make changes.
