Liquid lose to B8 in first match at StarLadder Budapest Major Stage 2
Liquid's Major journey began v. B8, who went through with a solid 3-1 record in Stage 1 of the StarLadder Budapest Major.
Liquid got off to a bad start and couldn't recover against the Ukrainians. B8, one of the Major's youngest teams, showed a good face v. Liquid to secure a perfect start to Stage 2 at the Major.
Liquid won their CT pistol on Mirage to begin the match, but dropped the next seven to fall behind 7-1. Liquid managed to pull the game back to 7-5 at the end of the half, but couldn't carry that momentum into the second period. The two-round deficit was as close as Liquid would get. B8 only dropped two rounds in the second half to win the match with a commanding 13-7 scoreline.
Artem "kensizor" Kapran and Alexey "alex666" Yarmoshchuk led the way for B8 with 17 frags apiece, matched only by Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski in a losing effort.
