NRG draws Imperial in final round of StarLadder Budapest Stage 1

After letting victory slip through their fingers against fnatic, NRG have one final opportunity to advance to the next stage of the Major. In the final fifth round of Stage 1, NRG will face Imperial.

NRG will look to avoid losing three straight best-of-three series after starting the stage 2-0. The lack of firepower and on-stage experience with Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella missing has shown in their series against M80 and fnatic.

Imperial are looking to pull off the opposite and qualify for the next stage after starting 1-2. The Brazilian team narrowly won their opener against Rare Atom before losing back-to-back best-of-ones to the red hot FlyQuest roster and fnatic. Earlier today, they held off elimination with another narrow win over an Asian team, needing overtime on Mirage to escape The Huns.
