Passion UA enjoy perfect start at DraculaN Season 3

Passion UA got their journey at DraculaN S3 off to a great start, as they began in the double-elimination playoff bracket.

Passion first came up against group play qualifiers Acend and then another group play team in GenOne.

Passion UA 13-6 Acend

Passion's first match came in a best-of-one v. Acend. Passion took a 3-1 lead in the beginning, and kept it through solid play in the first half to go 8-4 up. Acend brought the deficit down to 9-6, before Passion UA won the final four rounds to take the match 13-6.

Passion UA 2-0 GenOne

Passion UA's upper quarterfinals match came against GenOne, a French team featuring Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt and Kevin "misutaaa" Rabier.

GenOne picked Overpass, but it did not go as they had planned. Passion UA lost just two rounds in the first half to take a 10-2 lead. Passion easily converted that lead to a 13-2 win to take the 1-0 advantage.

Train, Passion's pick, was much closer. GenOne started on the CT side, with both teams jockeying for control. The first half ended in a stalemate at 6-6 before Passion UA took the momentum and ran in the second. The former Complexity core dropped just two rounds in the second half to win 13-8 and move to the upper semifinals.

Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol, Passion's newest member, owned against the Frenchmen. He was the only player to log greater than 30 frags, racking up 49 in just 36 rounds.
