Refrag drops co-owner after toxic tirade from FACEIT game
Refrag announced this morning that co-owner and content director Michael "Maestr0" Bulostin has been let go from the company after a clip of him being toxic towards a FACEIT teammate was shared online.
The Counter-Strike aiming and training subscription service responded quickly after a clip showing Maestr0, a former 1.6 player and coach in the NA scene, berating a teammate was posted on X. In the clip, he tells his teammate to "find a bridge" and continues to yell and swear at him throughout the round.
Refrag confirmed on X, reddit, and their official Discord channel that Maestr0 "has been let go and will not represent Refrag anymore from today onwards," adding that they "strongly condemn behavior and language like this." Refrag also asserted that they pride themselves on "having a positive, friendly community where toxicity like this doesn’t have a place."
In the replies on both X and reddit, there are a number of users sharing similar stories of toxicity from Maestr0 during games of FACEIT or Premier.
