Marsborne breeze past OverKnight in Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4 quarterfinals
Marsborne made quick work of OverKnight in the first playoff game of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4 powered by INUI last night.
OverKnight enjoyed a good start on Ancient, their map pick, as they secured the first pistol and the next couple of rounds. But things soured quickly as Marsborne won six in a row after they had money to afford rifles, and never really looked back.
Adam "Grizz" Golden, the leading candidate for Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4's MVP race, had a remarkable series. He finished Ancient with a 23-11 K/D, a 2.31 rating, and a +11.64% Round Swing, as a result of getting so many important kills.
The series proceeded to Nuke, and although OverKnight won six in a row between the end of their CT-side and the beginning of their T-side, Marsborne showcased some good CT-side setups, and didn't let the map slip from their hands.
The Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4 playoffs will resume tonight with BOSS vs. LAG at 12:00AM. The winner of this match will face Marsborne in the semifinals.
