Zomblers swap two; pick up grape and Pol0

The former Brazen duo have been called up to the VRS-ranked team.

Zomblers have today announced the additions of Brennan "grape" Greer and Marco "Pol0" Hernandez to their Counter-Strike 2 roster, seeing the Brazen duo join in place of Colton "FxRE" Thrasher and Ben "HAMBOOGA" Wetrich after the duo announced their departures from Zomblers last night.

The changes in Zomblers' ranks marks the first roster change for Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz and co. in some time, with the last change being the addition of FxRE and HAMBOOGA on August 1st under ex-Tsunami.

Regarding the change, FxRE told Dust2.us that he split with the team due to differences in opinion on the team's future, with the split coming amicably. As for HAMBOOGA, he told Dust2.us that FxRE's departure led the team to scout grape as his replacement, before electing to grab Pol0 as a sort of "package deal" from Brazen, leading to HAMBOOGA being removed to make space for the incoming players.

With this, HAMBOOGA said there were no hard feelings but that he regrets getting the "short end of the stick" in the transaction.

The new Zomblers roster had something of a "soft launch" in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #4 on October 24th, seeing the team knocked out at the hands of regain in a 2-0 loss.

Zomblers are now:

  • Connor "CoolComs" Barnes

  • United States Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz

  • United States Nikolaos "Pose1doNN" Antoniou

  • United States Brennan "grape" Greer

  • United States Marco "Pol0" Hernandez

The team's next scheduled outing with their new additions is currently unknown, as the team will be unable to use grape and Pol0 in ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup #4 due to the roster lock.
