Spirit says Academy players will be punished for sexist comments toward Imperial Valkyries

Shortly after Imperial analyst/coach Reinis "hyskeee" Grīnbergs posted a screenshot of sexist in-game comments from Spirit Academy players during a scrimmage against Imperial Valkyries, a representative from Spirit quickly apologized and confirmed those involved would be punished.

The screenshots shows an all chat message from Spirit Academy White player Artur "fernando_mag" Kaliuzhnyi that translates to "[Kirill "k0gaSs" Emelyanov] said he would give it to each of you in the mouth."

After the screenshots drew attention on X and Reddit, Dmitriy Bukhteyev, the Head of Academy at Spirit, posted a response on his official Telegram account. Bukhteyev said that the comments went against the team's standards, confirmed that the players will face the "strictest disciplinary actions," and apologized to Imperial Valkyries captain Viktoria "tory" Kazieva and her team.
