Liquid got their third win on Chinese soil

Liquid edge past Legacy to lock in CAC 2025 semifinals

Based on their performance so far, Liquid are the favorite to win CAC.

Liquid are through the CS Asia Championships 2025 semifinals after reverse-sweeping Legacy today in the group A upper bracket final.

Legacy proved to be a tough cookie to crack, as they stole Mirage, Liquid's map pick, off the back of a nearly perfect T-side. Lucas "lux" Meneghini led his troops by example, having delivered 20 frags and 131.6 ADR.

Liquid, though, bounced back right after with a dominating victory on Dust2, in which they won their CT-side by 9-3 and Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski delivered 23 kills across both halves.

The action moved to Inferno, and Liquid prevailed despite Legacy having the game on their hands. The Brazilians were winning by 11-9, but then Liquid fixed their CT-side and won four in a row to book their spot in the semifinals.

Overall, Keith "NAF" Markovic was Liquid's best player vs. Legacy, which was crucial, as Guy "NertZ" Iluz had a rough day after shining on day one.
