fl0m announces $30,000 Ranked LAN featuring top NA teams

Counter-Strike streamer Erik "fl0m" Flom has announced the details for fl0m's Mythical LAN, which will run in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 9th to January 11th.

The top eight teams in the North American VRS filter will be invited to the event, which is a VRS-enabled tier-two tournament boasting a $30,000 prize pool.

The tournament will take place at the HyperX Arena, located within the Luxor on the Las Vegas Strip.

The invites will exclude any NA teams that are in the top twelve of the Global VRS rankings. The invitations will be sent out using the November VRS ranking update, and seeding for the event will be based on the January VRS update.

The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four in a GSL best-of-three group stage, followed by a best-of-three single-elimination bracket. The top two teams in either group will qualify for the playoffs.

fl0m commented on his stream that tickets for the whole event will be $200 apiece with a VIP option available that is ideal for those who want to attend with a group. There will be a total of 500 tickets up for grabs. More info for the event can be found here.
