BLUEJAYS top Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 over Getting Info!
BLUEJAYS have defeated Getting Info in quite an emotional match last night, September 2nd, to win the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 powered by INUI.
This ended up being the players' last hoorah under the BLUEJAYS banner as SkinRave signed the roster today, September 3rd.
As we put it, the grand finals were quite a rollercoaster. The series was tied after BLUEJAYS took Overpass (13-9), and Getting Info won Dust2 (13-10). Little did we know that they saved the best for last and delivered a hell of a game on Nuke.
Nuke came all the way down to triple overtime after Getting Info survived four championship points during regulation.
Getting Info even had the chance to claim the tournament in OT #1, however, BLUEJAYS stood their ground and ended up winning in OT#3 with a perfect four-round streak.
And, BLUEJAYS couldn't have done it without their Mongolian rifler Maks "laxiee" Andryei. The 20-year-old dropped 45 kills on Nuke, nine more than Getting Info's top fragger, which fueled BLUEJAYS to win the tournament.
Despite laxiee's heroics in the final map, Paytyn "junior" Johnson has been named the MVP of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3.
The AWPer averaged a 1.50 rating throughout the tournament and a +5.73% Round Swing. He also led the tournament in other stats, such as KD-diff, Damage per round, and Kills per round.
Dust2.us' Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore will deliver our custom MVP medal to junior personally this weekend, at Fragville 2025.
