Breaking: SkinRave acquire BLUEJAYS CS2 roster

Their players are in a good position to qualify for the Major.

SkinRave, a Cypriot Counter-Strike 2 skins marketplace and gambling website, has entered CS2 esports with the acquisition of BLUEJAYS roster. The deal sees SkinRave acquire Paytyn "junior" Johnson, Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore, Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney, Maks "laxiee" Andryei while also signing recent stand-in Colby "Walco" Walsh and BLUEJAYS' de-facto coach Tommy "Axed" Ryan.

junior, Cryptic, and CLASIA had been a part of BLUEJAYS since June, while Maks "laxiee" Andryei joined in July. The roster originally featured Adam "freshie" Paterson, but BLUEJAYS removed him on August 1st, and started using Walco as a stand-in right after.

These players are currently in a position to qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major, as they sit in 9th in the Americas Valve Regional Standings (VRS) on September 3rd. A total of 10 teams from the region will qualify, but there are still tournaments to be played.

The team won the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3 powered by INUI last night after beating Getting Info in the grand finals.

The players will make their debut for SkinRave this weekend at the $10,000 Fragadelphia Fragville tournament.

SkinRave are now:

  • United States Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore

  • United States Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney

  • Maks "laxiee" Andryei

  • Canada Colby "Walco" Walsh
