Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 3 Day 5 recap: ASPYRE defeat FlyQuest RED to go 1-1
Only one match went down on the fifth day of action in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 3.
ASPYRE defeated FlyQuest RED 2-0 to move into the 1-1 pool. After FlyQuest's loss to Shimmer in the first round, they are now in the 0-2 group and are one match loss away from elimination.

FlyQuest RED elected to start the series on Mirage. ASPYRE took control from the beginning and didn't look back. A 10-2 lead at halftime for ASPYRE led to a 13-3 victory to steal their opponents' map pick. Andrew "dvrk" Brunken dropped 20 kills in 16 rounds to lead ASPYRE to the win.
ASPYRE then looked to close out the series on Inferno. A back-and-forth first half saw ASPYRE holding on to a slim 7-5 lead after their T side. FlyQuest RED couldn't get anything going on the attack and lost the map and series by a score of 13-5.
