LAG cut brett in surprise shakeup
Last night LAG's IGL Brett "brett" Rhein announced his departure from the team on his private X account, with Dust2.us confirming that he had been cut from the lineup. brett's departure from LAG's ranks sees the skipper out of his team after joining Vagrants in place of Jack "micro" Ryan at the start of the year.
LAG's head coach, Brennan "Aureo" O’Connell, confirmed to Dust2.us that brett had been cut from the lineup, telling the publication that the team decided to cut brett due to a feeling that the lineup had been stagnating and failed to grow as quickly as they'd like, necessitating a leadership change to shake things up.
In his own statement, brett told Dust2.us that he felt the change was naturally a bad idea and that he felt the team cut him after emotions had begun to run high within the lineup due to his feeling that he wasn't being given feedback in a constructive manner.
brett said that the team had an agreement to wait until practice or post-match sessions to give feedback to teammates, however the team started doing this right after matches which brett feels led to feedback being emotionally charged and unproductive while also leading to his ouster.
LAG will now change their roster after a decent season which included a win in ESEA Advanced Season 53 and a top-four finish in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2.
With brett out of the lineup, LAG are now as follows:
-
Mason "mason" Watkins -
Justin "Sandman" Saulle -
Kevin "consti" Yi -
Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield -
Brennan "Aureo" O’Connell (Coach)
LAG will be on the lookout for a new fifth ahead of the start of Round Two of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #3's Swiss Stage, which is set to start tomorrow.
