Liquid claims invite to FISSURE Playground #2

Yesterday FISSURE revealed the first twelve invites to FISSURE Playground #2, their latest $500,000 LAN tournament. The previous of FISSURE Playground was topped by TYLOO in an exciting finals that saw China claim their first Counter-Strike in many years with a win over Astralis. Both teams are set to return to this LAN event while Liquid have also claimed an invite to the event.

The addition of Liquid brings the total number of NA players attending the LAN up to three, with Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Keith "NAF" Markovic set to join FaZe's Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski in Serbia.

FISSURE Playground #2 is set to feature sixteen teams meaning the tournament organizer have yet to reveal the final four spots set to be filled by the July Global VRS. Taking a look at the current standings, Complexity would be up for an invite as the 16th team, however they may end up attending the event under the Passion UA banner as the team are rumored to jump to the Ukrainian organization in short order.
