BLUEJAYS and ECSTATIC headline new wave of Fragadelphia Blocktober signups

Twelve more teams, including BLUEJAYS and ECSTATIC, signed up for Fragadelphia Blocktober yesterday, August 14th. Fragadelphia expanded the format to 48 teams after a lot of European and South American teams bought tickets for the $10,000 event in Philadelphia earlier this week.

The reason why Fragadelphia has become a popular tournament overseas is because of how the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) work. Many teams are desperate to play LANs to try to climb up the rankings and potentially fight for a Major spot.
