Brazilian LAN set to be played on Aircraft Carrier

Circuito FERJEE 2025, an upcoming Brazilian tournament, has a rather unusual setting. The tournament organized by the Rio de Janeiro State Federation of Electronic Sports will take place in the NAM Atlântico, an aircraft carrier that serves as the flagship of the Brazilian Navy.

Circuito FERJEE 2025 will see RED Canids, ODDIK, Sharks, and Imperial fight for their share of the R$250,000 (approximately $46,000) prize pool. Back-to-back Major champions in 2016, Lincoln "fnx" Lau and Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, will work at the analysis desk during the event.

Although this will probably be the first CS2 tournament to be played on an aircraft carrier or any boat for that matter, this isn't the first time that a South American tournament organizer has used their creativity this year. In April, the Argentinian event FiReLEAGUE Buenos Aires was played in a subway.

The Brazilian event will run from August 13th to 15th in Pier Mauá.
