StarLadder StarSeries Budapest 2025 details revealed

StarLadder revealed the prize pool distribution for its upcoming event, StarSeries Budapest 2025, on August 4th.

There's $500,000 on the line for StarLadder StarSeries Budapest. The distribution is as follows:

• 1st: $200,000

• 2nd: $130,000

• 3rd: $70,000

• 4th: $40,000

• 5-6th: $20,000

• 7-8th: $10,000

StarLadder StarSeries Budapest 2025 format

Four teams from the global Valve Regional Standings (VRS) will be invited straight to the LAN playoffs, and the remaining four slots will be decided via an online European Closed Qualifier.

A total of 16 European teams will be invited to this Closed Qualifier based on the region's VRS. The teams will play from August 13th to 17th, and the top four will advance to the main event.

The LAN playoffs will see these eight teams compete in a double-elimination system from September 18th to 21st.

StarLadder said that the invites will be revealed soon. If the invites were sent today, Liquid would be invited to the Closed Qualifier. However, this could change if Liquid lose precious points in the BLAST Bounty Season 2 this week.
