CS2 map maker creates CS Operation-style map after four years with no official Operations from Valve
Nearly four years have passed since the last official operation.
Given the nearly four-year gap since the most recent operation, CS2 community map-maker Maxime took matters into his own hands, creating Operation Lazarus and introducing his new map, Wild.
The community has been clamoring for an operation, as the most recent one, Operation Riptide, was launched in September 2021.
On Wild, players can go solo or with friends to complete the mission, which sees CTs attempt to save two hostages from an illegal Phoenix lab.
Maxime created a trailer for the map, which teases his upcoming projects, Athena and Atlantis.
Maxime described his project as, "Operation Lazarus is a community-made series of missions hidden in CS2 workshop maps."
