Complexity GM messioso on mithR rumors: "We have a coach"
Complexity is reportedly close to bringing on former Liquid coach Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg, with the team's general manager Graham "messioso" Pitt confirming that a coach has been brought on.
Messioso addressed the "leak" during the broadcast of his "Untitled CS Show" on X. Earlier in the day insider Vladislav Gromov, who was the first to report back in March that Liquid and mithR would part ways, claimed that the Danish coach would be heading Complexity's way.
"I don't want to talk too much about the situation yet because we've got some official announcements to go through," messioso said in response to a question about the +mithR leak. "But we do have a coach who will be working with us for the upcoming events."
Complexity are looking to stabilize after a very up-and-down first half of 2025. After getting battered on the international stage in the first two months of the year, they parted ways with long-time coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen. Immediately after, they went on a winning streak against NA competition before impressing at PGL Bucharest with wins against Falcons, FURIA, FaZe, and Aurora en route to a 4th place finish.
They qualified for the Major through the NA MRQ, but were unable to compete with foundational AWPer Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli due to visa issues. Now though, hallzerk is back with the team, who are all in Serbia ahead of FISSURE Playground #1, with IEM Cologne not far past it.
