s1mple's brother: "OverDrive is a seasoned bullsh*t artist"

Alexey Kostyliev, the brother Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, had a heated exchange with Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov, a known CS2 insider and Spirit scout, after OverDrive reported that both FaZe and NAVI closed doors for s1mple.

"OverDrive is a seasoned bullshit artist, a real veteran of made-up stories. He lies with confidence," s1mple's brother said.

To which, OverDrive responded:

"A guy only known for being s1mple's brother said some nonsense again. Confidently skipping over this nobody."

OverDrive has built a reputation since CS:GO days as one of the most credited insiders in the scene. He's also been credited with discovering recent talents like Danil "donk" Kryshkovets and Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin for Spirit.

s1mple's brother, Alexey, was formerly a media marketing specialist for NAVI from April 2017 to January 2024.

s1mple most recently was on the server with FaZe during the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. His loan expired after the tournament, and he returned to NAVI's bench.
