jks is going back home

FlyQuest acquire jks from Liquid

The 29-year-old will play for an Australian team for the first time since 2020.

FlyQuest have completed the signing of Justin "jks" Savage this Wednesday, July 9th. The Australian had been on the sidelines since March, when Liquid benched him to make room for Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek's arrival, and FlyQuest bought him out of his contract.

jks spent less than a year on Liquid's active lineup, having joined the organization in August 2024. During his stint, he most notably helped Liquid to reach the Perfect World Shanghai Major playoffs in December.

While FlyQuest is yet to announce who jks will replace, HLTV reported that the veteran will take the place of Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas on the roster.

Additionally, this move marks jks' return to Australia. The rifler hasn't played for an Australian team since 100 Thieves disbanded in October 2020, as he went on to play in international teams such as the "Juggernaut" version of Complexity, G2, and Liquid.

FlyQuest now are:

  • Australia Joshua "INS" Potter

  • Australia Declan "Vexite" Portelli

  • Iulian "regali" Harjău

  • Australia Corey "nettik" Browne

  • Australia Justin "jks" Savage

  • Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga (Coach)

  • Australia Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas (Inactive)
