reck joined M80 in 2023, when the org entered CS

Official: M80 bench reck

Rostermania is in full swing.

M80 have made a farewell post for Ethan "reck" Serrano on X this Monday, July 7th, and confirmed to HLTV that he has been benched. This move comes one day after Dust2.us reported that M80 would replace reck with Jadan "HexT" Postma.

reck has been a part of M80 since the organization entered Counter-Strike in July 2023. Now, with his removal from the active roster, Michael "Swisher" Schmid will be the only member from the original roster still playing for M80.

With the help of reck, M80 qualified for multiple big tournaments since 2023, including the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, which was the first Major for both reck and M80. reck also helped M80 to make a deep run in ESL Pro League Season 20 in 2024, as they reached the quarterfinals.

However, reck has been in a slump recently, having averaged a 0.78 rating at PGL Astana and a 0.95 rating at the BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage Two.

According to our sources, HexT should debut for M80 at Fragadelphia 19 in Windsor, Canada on July 17th.

For now, M80's roster consists of:

  • United States Michael "Swisher" Schmid

  • Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich

  • Elias "s1n" Stein

  • United States Mason "Lake" Sanderson

  • Rory "dephh" Jackson (Coach)

  • United States Ethan "reck" Serrano (Inactive)
