StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage Three & Two invite slots revealed

Valve announced on July 1st how many slots each region (Europe, Americas, and Asia) will have at the StarLadder Budapest Major Stage Three and Stage Two. The slots for Stage One will be defined at a later date.

Asia are undoubtely the biggest winner as their teams, The MongolZ and Lynn Vision, went far in the BLAST.tv Austin Major, and secured a slot for the region in Stage Three & Two.

This is how the Major slot distribution looks after the Austin Major:

StarLadder Budapest Major Stage Three

• Europe: 5 slots

• Americas: 2 slots

• Asia: 1 slot

StarLadder Budapest Major Stage Two

• Europe: 5 slots

• Americas: 2 slots

• Asia: 1 slot

The expectation is that the StarLadder Budapest Major Stage One will feature six teams from Europe, six from Americas, and four from Asia. However, Valve hasn't confirmed it just yet.

And, as a reminder, all StarLadder Budapest Major invites will be decided via the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) on October 8th. Valve got rid of the Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQs) for the Budapest Major and onwards.
