NACS LANcord Discord launches aiming to become central hub for NA tournaments

The community-run server will attempt to put all pertinent NACS info in one place.

A new Discord dedicated to collecting information about upcoming event, the NACS LANcord, was launched on June 30th as a place where NA players, tournament organizers, and fans can gather to keep tabs on events happening in North America. The creation of the Discord is the brainchild of a team headed by ESEA Main player James "Jachro" Brooks as a way to centralize knowledge about opportunities in the NA scene akin to the old ESEA forums.

To grow the North American scene from the ground up, the NACS LANcord will keep interested parties informed about VRS and non-VRS events happening in the region. For example, one can currently research more information on Fragadelphia 19 or the ESL Pro League Season 22 NA Qualifier in the Discord.

Interested parties can sign up to see all events that are taking place in North America, or apply filters for VRS, LAN, Impact, or online events. Additionally, TOs may use the Discord to submit events and ask for help from experts to ensure their events are compliant with Valve's tournament operation requirements.

Players may also look for teams and organizations can find rosters using this Discord server.
