Getting Info win Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series 2 final over BOSS
BOSS v. Getting Info concluded the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2 last night. BOSS came in as one of two teams that were perfect in the Swiss Stage, while Getting Info wasn't far behind with a 3-1 record.
BOSS defeated Tsunami and Akimbo on their way to the final, and Getting Info bested Party Astronauts and LAG.
BOSS 1-2 Getting Info
Getting Info picked Mirage to start the series, but BOSS took the advantage straight away. BOSS went up 9-3 in the first half and didn't look back, stealing their opponents' map by a commanding 13-4 scoreline.
BOSS looked to close the series out on Ancient, but it was Getting Info who reversed the script, taking a 9-3 lead into the second half. Given their advantage, an evenly played second half favored Getting Info, who forced a third and decisive map with a 13-7 victory.
Getting Info carried that momentum from the second map into the final showdown on Anubis. They jumped out to an 8-4 lead despite losing three of the first four rounds in the map. BOSS couldn't muster any rounds in the second half, as Getting Info claimed the title with a 13-4 victory.
