Take Flyte bench REKMEISTER, reinstate Sharpie to the starting lineup

After two seasons of ESEA Advanced, REKMEISTER is out of the starting lineup.

On June 28th Take Flyte announced a change to their ESEA Advanced roster, seeing Alexander "REKMEISTER" Flynn moved to the bench in favor of Simon "Sharpie" Taylor, who rejoins the starting lineup after being benched back in May. Sharpie's return to the lineup is the latest change in Take Flyte's ranks after adding former Tsunami player Colton "FxRE" Thrasher in early May.

The change within Take Flyte comes after the team notched a fourth-place finish in ESEA Advanced Season 53, mounting an impressive run from round two of the lower bracket before ultimately being knocked out by VitaPLUR in the lower bracket semifinal.

Sharpie's return to the roster may be short-lived as Take Flyte noted they will look at their options post-Fragadelphia 19, however with ESEA Advanced Season 54 starting before then the team may be hard-pressed to find a replacement until after the season.

Take Flyte are now:

  • United States Chad "Crisp" Bredeson

  • United States George "huncho" Carney

  • Canada Benjamin "Panic" Keeping

  • United States Simon "Sharpie" Taylor

  • United States Colton "FxRE" Thrasher

  • United States Brandon "R4ndo" Smith (Coach)

  • United States Alexander "REKMEISTER" Flynn (Inactive)

Take Flyte are set to attend Fragadelphia 19 when the LAN event kicks off on July 17th.
